We can officially announce that Fall is here, and with the new season’s arrival comes the barrage of advertisements for pumpkin-spice everything. Don’t worry, today we are giving you 4 non-pumpkin fall drinks you have to try, not an obligation but HIGLY recommended. 😉

Orange Spice

This one is so sweet, aromatic and way too simple you will wonder why you haven’t been making it at home for years.

All you need is:

1. peeled and juiced orange

2. 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

3. 1 pinch nutmeg

4. 1/2 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)

5. 200ml hot water

Add all the ingredients to a mug and pour over boiling water to fill.

Mix and E-N-J-O-Y!

London Fog Latte

This is what we called “easy peazy lemon squeezy”, the London Fog Latte. (which is technically just an Early Grey Latte) British people definitely know how to make a simple tea into a luxurious drink.

All you need is:

1. 1 earl grey tea bag (or 2)

2. 120ml oat or cashew milk (any kind will work)

3. 1 tablespoon sweetener (this is optional, but we quite enjoy a good old teaspoon of honey)

4. 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

5. Lavender (optional too but you will miss a BIG opportunity to taste Heaven)

Simply brew a cup of strong earl grey tea along with a pinch of lavender. Then strain the tea, and combine it with some steamed milk, and stir in your sweetener and a dash of vanilla. BOOM, a warm, comforting and luxurious London Fog drink in your hands.

Golden milk latte

As you may know, turmeric is an amazing anti-inflammatory so incorporating it everywhere is always good for you! Even more when you crack some black pepper which aids in the absorption of the curcumin (the active ingredient in turmeric).

All you need is:

1. 400ml oat milk

2. 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

3. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

4. 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

5. some black pepper

6. a pinch cardamom

7. maple syrup to taste

Whisk all the ingredients together until the mixture is light and airy. On medium heat for 5 minutes and then serve. With a bright colour and unmistakable flavour, this fall drink is easy to make and have a calming, soothing effect. Ideal for a cold day!

Superpower Apple Cider

It wouldn’t be Veann without a recipe packed with goodness that benefit your health. One sip at a time, always!

All you need is:

1. 200ml fresh apple juice

2. 1 whole clove

3. 1 cinnamon stick

4. 1/2 Chinese star anise

5. 1 whole cardamom pods

6. a little bit of fresh ginger

7. 1/4 teaspoon fresh lemon zest

8. 1 slice of orange

Place your apple juice in a medium-sized saucepan. Add the clove, cinnamon stick, cardamom, anise, ginger and lemon zest. Cover and heat on low-medium heat for 20 minutes. It doesn’t need to boil.
