Meatless Goulash Meatballs

Directions

  • -Sauté onion until translucent, add garlic, cayenne, paprika and tomato paste and cook for another 2 minutes to blend the flavors together.
  • – Add the stewed tomatoes and wait until the goulash bubbles. Add meatless meatballs and cook for 25 minutes.
  • – Finish the goulash with agave, salt and pepper and garnish with parsley.
  • – Note: Can be served with mashed potatoes to make a delicious entrée.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon smoked (or regular) paprika powder
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 150g stewed tomatoes
  • 1 package meatless meatballs
  • 1 tablespoon agave
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
