- – Heat the vegetable oil in a pot.
- – Add the onions and peppers and saute for 5-7 minutes until soft.
- – Add the Gardein crumbles, brown sugar and steak seasoning and cook for 2-3 minutes longer. Deglaze the pan with the vinegar and soy sauce, making sure to scrape all of the bits off the bottom of the pan.
- – Add the tomato sauce and the tomato paste and mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce the flame and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- – Plate a cup of the sloppy joe mix on each roll to serve.
